When you’re ready for a
break from work, from the city, your escape begins with
a long descent from Umstead State Park’s Trenton
Road entrance via the Reedy Creek Trail. Amidst summer
greenery, or fall leaves, or winter snow, or spring
growth, you spy Reedy Creek Lake’s shimmering,
blue-green waters. The light draws you on to the lake’s
shore. This placid pool links Reedy Creek and Crabtree
Creek in northwestern Wake County. You can finally relax
on the grassy shore basking in the tranquility. |
